Spin to Win
Some great young talent were at the Spin to Win testing day in Sydney! Approximately fifty young athletes attended the session with Olympians Brittany O'Brien, Kevin Chavez and Matthew Mitcham on hand to help guide their testing!
School Sport Australia Championships
Action is about to start the School Sport Australia Championships being held in Lightning Ridge over the next week.
SPIN TO WIN WITH OLYMPIANS
Spin to Win with Olympians is a series of Come and Try events. There are open to all boys and girls ages 5 to 12 who want to see if they have the potential to become an elite gymnast or diver.

NSWIS Testing Camp
A fantastic time was had by all that attended the NSWIS Testing Camp held at SOPAC in the last week of the school holidays. Approximately forty participants attended each session of the week long camp. In total there were over 100 children in the program.

THE HUNT FOR AUSTRALIA'S NEXT GOLD MEDALLIST IS ON!
Just a quick note to let you know the NSW Institute of Sport is on the lookout for Australia’s next diving gold medallist with our ‘come and try’ day at Sydney Olympic Park. For the first time in Australia we’re hosting a week long talent identification camp. Last time we hosted a TID we had over 90 kids come and try the sport, but this time we’re focusing on continuing the success and giving kids an opportunity to do diving training for an entire week, not just one day.

Level One Coaching Course
Well done to everyone that participated in the Level Once Coaching Course. The course ran Friday night through to Sunday afternoon with new coaches from as far away as Lightning Ridge that included elite divers and ex-divers all eager to learn.
