Modified Geoff Montgomery Memorial Meet

Dear Members, We have secured Abbotsleigh Aquatic Centre for Sunday 16th November, 2008 and we will be running a modified Geoff Montgomery Memorial event to provide the opportunity to practice before Pacific School Games and/or qualify for Nationals. Please see attached for schedule of events and further information. We will run this event free of charge and apologise once again for any inconvenience and disappointment caused. Cancellation of Geoff Montgomery Meet

I AM DISSAPPOINTED TO ADVISE THAT THE GEOFF MONTGOMERY MEET TO BE HELD IN CANBERRA on the 15th and 16th November, 2008 HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A COMPLICATION WITH THE PLANT ROOM - PUMP SYSTEM.

A meeting was held between Canberra Pool Management and the Government Capital Works Department and Contractors. There is no guarantee that the pool will be open by the 15th November, 2008. I was advised of this complication today.

Many apologies for the inconvenience caused.

If you have paid any entry fees you will be refunded as soon as possible.

Diving NSW is currently looking at an option to hold a modified event at Abbotsleigh on Sunday 16th November 2008. We will advise asap.

Congratulations to Rebecca and JulianManuel on the birth of their second son Ryan Louis Paul. Ryan was born lastnight at 6.12pm with both mum and baby doing great!!!

Visit by Alex Croak brightens Hospital Patients Day

Alex Croak visited Westmead Children's Hospital to brighten the day of Paige a young diver from Mildura who is suffering from Regional Complex Pain Syndrome.
