Freddie Pryor and Christian Holman both from the Parramatta Club were awared Diving Australia Diver of the Year in their respective age groups at the completion of the 2009 Australian Age Diving Championships.
Congratulations to Melissa Wu who with partner Bree Cole has picked up a silver medal in the FINA Diving World Series in Changzhu, China in the Women's 10M Platform synchronised event. Melissa and Bree on 347.34 were 20 points clear of 3rd place Germany with China the winners on 372.00.
Congratulations to Matthew Mitcham's silver performance in what was a thrilling men’s 10m platform in the first FINA Diving World Series in Doha, Qatar, in which the Chinese
were for the only time in the competition seriously threatened. Luxin
Zhou (546.75) managed to take the gold, but had to overcome the Olympic
champion Matthew Mitcham, second in a very close 545.25.
